ENROLL AT PUDDLETOWN MONTESSORI SCHOOL

Our Admission Process

YOUR JOURNEY TO PUDDLETOWN

We welcome curious, joyful learners and their families into our Montessori community. Here’s how to begin

STEP #1

Start a Conversation
Start by filling out our short interest form for Preschool/Kindergarten, Elementary, or Middle School programs. We’ll then schedule a phone conversation to share more about Puddletown and answer your questions.

STEP #2

See Our School!
Next, we’d love to welcome you for a visit. We’ll schedule a caregiver visit for you to tour the program(s) that interest you. Middle School visits may be virtual or in-person.

STEP #3

Submit an Application
Complete our application. No cost or commitment required.

Puddletown may request additional information or further conversation before moving forward.

For Middle School: caregivers will speak with the Lead Guide and arrange a student ‘shadow day.’

STEP #4

Reserve Your Space
If Puddletown feels like the right fit, reserve your space with a $500 New Child Registration Fee (see Fees section). If the program is full, you may join our waitlist at no cost.

STRIVING TO FIND A BALANCE OF AGE, GENDER AND EXPERIENCE

Every year, Puddletown Montessori School attempts to achieve a balance of age, self-identified gender, and Montessori experience within our classrooms. Puddletown strives to become a school where all children and families are welcome, feel welcome, and see themselves reflected here. Puddletown School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in hiring, promoting, or training of employees, nor in the admissions, rights, privileges, programs and activities of its learners.

Generally, Puddletown is not equipped outright nor licensed to care for children with disabilities requiring specialized equipment or one-on-one aides; therefore any such care is conditional upon the family/caregivers and staff properly arranging for the child’s needs to be met. It is the goal for each child to be able to participate in and substantially benefit from this Montessori program without risk to themself or other children. Puddletown Montessori School reserves the right to limit entrance to the program or ask that a child be unenrolled from the program after a trial period, based on whether or not we have or can successfully access and implement the tools and strategies to best support a child’s needs, or whether we’ve been able to successfully collaborate with a family and/or a child’s outside support professionals to get the child’s needs met.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

We welcome families of all financial situations. If tuition feels out of reach, please complete our FACTS form so we can start a conversation about support.

AGE & PROGRAM OPENINGS

  • Most openings: three-year-olds entering the Preschool–Kindergarten program (with a commitment through the Kindergarten year).

  • Occasional openings: older preschoolers (ages 4–5).

  • Elementary & Middle School: accepting applications for 1st–8th grade.

OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Puddletown strives to be a place where all children and families feel welcome and represented. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in admissions, rights, privileges, programs, or activities.
